Meet our pastors: Russ and Marcia

Russ and Marcia Reighley are the pastors at Sherrill’s Ford Presbyterian Church. They are now in their 7th year of ministry at Sherrill’s Ford.

They are second career pastor’s. God equipped them well with life experiences before calling them to His ministry. Marcia was primarily a counselor for women in crisis before hearing God’s call to ministry. Russ was a business executive, who focused on working with companies that were in crisis and needed to reformulate themselves. He helped them create their new “blueprint”.

They were active church members while they attended a three-day spiritual retreat in the Fall of 1998. It was then they realized that being a member of God’s Church required more than attending Sunday services.

Since then God, through the examples of Jesus, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit; has led them on a very exciting journey. Some of the highlights of their journey have been: working on almost 100 Spiritual Retreat weekends, following the “Footsteps of Paul” in 2012, making five trips to the Holy Land; and so many other events and blessings. All of these experiences are incorporated into their worship style.
